Welcome to Petite Martinique, the gorgeous paradise that completes our tri-island destination. This tiny island is situated off the northern half of Carriacou. About 900 people live here, most of whom derive their income from boat building and fishing. The highest point on the island, a peak called Piton, was once the site of an annual festival where the island's maroon (former slaves) would come together and celebrate.

Petite Martinique is a beautiful island with a strong culture and rich history manifested through its traditions and festivals. The highest point on the island, the Piton (750 feet high) was once the site of the island’s maroon (former slaves) feast also known as the ‘Sugaring of the Piton’.
